Make My Skin More Sensitive

Our lazy mornings

POSSIBLY
by LesleĆ” Newman
to wake and find you sitting up in bed
with your black hair and gold skin
leaning against the white wall
a perfect slant of sunlight slashed
across your chest as if God
Were Rembrandt or maybe Ingmar Bergman
But luckily it's too early to go to the movies
and all the Are museums closed on Tuesday
anyway I'd rather be here with you
Than in New York or Amsterdam
Possibly with Our Eyes and lips and legs and bellies
and the sun as big as a house in the sky and five minutes left
Before the world begins.

sing our lazy mornings when you see me, say "Hello Love" and I say nothing. You just kiss and smile with eyes closed. I kiss you and kiss you again. The sun comes in through some crack imperceptible and the white curtains of the bed makes everything look brighter, but not as much as you.

light that still shines on my mornings memory and your smile with me. Your kisses are swirling in my hair still keep the flavor of the delights of the night, the sighs and murmurs. Already will rise to play naked with laughter and music, sometimes win, sometimes I'll win. And eat on the island where it is a one-eyed dragon and tell us stories of kittens and panthers, caves prohibited and secret lagoons.

Leslea Newman is a very prolific American author. He has written 57 books for children and adults, as well as poetry. His books include: A letter to Harvey Milk (where the movie was based Milk ) Nobody's Mother , Hachiko Waits , Write from the Heart , The Boy Who Cried Fabulous , The Best Cat in the World , and very controversial, Heather Has Two Mommies . It is a pioneer in children's literature that speaks openly and positively about Gay parenting couples. He has also addressed issues of conflict and female homosexuality, AIDS, eating disorders and sexual abuse. Seeks to delve into issues of identity, especially those that she feels conflicted by example how to be a woman, Jewish and lesbian (which is a conflict seems really hard to live as evidenced by some artists.)

should be noted that beyond treating controversial issues openly, this talented writer has won many awards as the Poetry Fellowships from the Massachusetts Artists Fellowship Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts. He has also won awards for his books for children and Highlights for Children Fiction Writing Award, other awards include its contribution to culture and several Pushcart Prize nominations.
